Geography Report Statements

This page contains Geography statements to help teachers complete end-of-year pupil reports. The statements are categorised to make them easier to browse. Please contact us with any useful statements that we can add to the list.

General Statements

has a growing/good/very good geographical vocabulary

Localities and the Environment

has an awareness of places beyond our locality
has a growing awareness of the local environment
is able to identify and explain the function of a range of buildings and other geographical features within the local environment.
is able to express views on the quality of the local environment
is able to compare localities in terms of their human and physical features, describing similarities and differences
is able to identify features of the local environment that he/she likes and dislikes, giving simple explanations for his/her preferences
